Sous Chef


About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced chef to join our team. We are looking for a enthusiastic individual with passion for food to be part of our operation. This role will involve assisting the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, overseeing food preparation to ensure all dishes are of the highest standard, maintain food safety and hygiene standards in accordance with health regulations, inputting into new menus, training and providing guidance to kitchen staff as needed, ensuring equipment is maintained and in good working condition, monitoring inventory levels and supplies. If you are a passionate Sous Chef with a strong culinary background, exceptional leadership skills, and a dedication to delivering high-quality food, we would love to hear from you. Join our team and be part of an exciting culinary experience! We offer a balanced working schedule that allows for family and social time; our restaurant and coffee shop opening hours are Mon-Sat 9am-4.30pm (including bank holidays) and Sunday 10am-3.30pm. 

Skills and Experience Required

Previous experience as a Junior Sous or Sous essential, Food Hygiene certification essential, attention to detail in food presentation, ability to work under pressure and cook to order.

Role Type

Full time, alternate weekend working
