Crocus - Mixed Colours

Crocus produce an enchanting mix of colourful crocuses that bring a burst of late winter colour to your beds and borders, or pots and containers.

With a clustering growing habit, that appears relatively low to the ground, they look wonderful planted among other early flowering plants such as snowdrops or winter aconites to create a magnificent display that will naturalise and return year after year.

These versatile flowers also create a stunning effect added to a lawn, where these low-growing flowers will return in a similar way each year. Just remember not to mow the lawn for at least six weeks after flowering has finished.

In addition to being wonderful to look at, these early flowering crocuses are an excellent source of nectar for bees and other pollinators and are attractive to a wide range of wildlife.

To get the most from these blooms ensure they are planted in moist, well-drained soil in a sunny or partially shaded position in your garden and you will be rewarded will low-maintenance flowers that return year after year.
