Parrot Prince Tulips are whimsically shaped tulips with ruffled or fringed petals. Emerging as green buds, they will eventually open into mature unusually coloured flowers, resembling the plumage of a parrot. These bulbs will bloom for several weeks around late spring, with lance-shaped grey-green leaves, reaching an eventual full height of around 45cm.
These hardy spring bulbs are perfect for planting in small groups in borders or containers, adding an exotic feel to garden displays. They are also excellent as cut flowers earning themselves a place in the cut flower garden.
