We have exciting opportunities to join our award winning coffee shops and restaurants!

Here at Knights we have the Walled Garden restaurant at Nags Hall, and the Plant House coffee shop at Betchworth.

Our coffee shops and restaurants offer a positive work-life balance with day shifts and alternate weekend working, in a friendly and fast paced environment. We provide training and support to our staff, allowing them to develop knowledge and skills in all areas of catering. All staff receive free food and drink, company discount across our garden centres, free parking, company pension, tips. Whilst you will be predominantly based at one site, all staff may be required to work at either centre.

The Walled Garden at Nags Hall:

• Head Chef (full time) - managing the kitchen service to ensure high standards, preparing hot and cold meals, sandwiches and pastries, maintaining food safety standards in line with regulations, responsible for cleaning and organisation of the kitchen

The Plant House at Betchworth:

• Head Chef (full time) - managing the kitchen service to ensure high standards, preparing hot and cold meals, sandwiches and pastries, maintaining food safety standards in line with regulations, responsible for cleaning and organisation of the kitchen 

The Ideal Candidate

We are seeking talented and passionate individuals with a background working in coffee shops and restaurants.

The ideal candidates will be able to work as part of a team, have strong attention to detail, have a passion for food and customer service, be willing to learn and grow, and bring new ideas and skills to increase productivity. Food Hygiene, Allergy Awareness and COSHH certification required
