Allium Atropurpureum bulbs grow into dark purple, exotic looking flowers that are a magnet for bees and butterflies. It is a fabulous addition to pots or borders, gravel gardens and an array or low-maintenance spaces.
These tall and moody flowers, originating from Eastern Europe, love sunlight and well-drained soil, and are best planted in groups. This flower is a great way to fill gaps in a sunny border or can be planted in bold drifts. The wonderful flowers also make an excellent fresh cut or dried flower to enjoy around the home.
