A semi-evergreen species with catkins in spring which turn into fruits loved by the wildlife. In autumn turns into rich autumnal shades and will last through the winter
It is suitable for normal, clay or chalk soil in full sun or semi-shade for inland, coastal or exposed sites
Growth rate = 20-40cm per year
