It is best planted in a container and grown in a cool greenhouse or conservatory and then placed outside during summer
It likes plenty of sunshine
Plant in a loamy, neutral to acidic soil
Water when the soil feels dry and use a liquid fertiliser regularly during the growing season
Prune very lightly after harvesting the fruit if needed to maintain the shape required
