The Crocus Whitewell Purple features violet petals that blend into a pale lilac at the centre, with golden and orange tones in the stigma and anthers.
These blooms appear early in spring and are great planted in tandem with other flowering plants. The bulbs are perfect for scattering across a lawn and planting where they land, where they will spread and naturalise well. They can also be planted in pots or containers on a sunny patio, in the front of borders or rockeries for colour at a low level, or in a window box to be admired from inside the home. If planting in a lawn, let the foliage completely die back before mowing.
