Iris reticulata J. S. Dijt is a warm reddish-purple with a golden yellow stripe on the falls and a light, sweet fragrance, unusual in dwarf irises.
In well-drained soil and a sunny position, reticulata irises return reliably each year, though they perform best and are most appreciated in containers where the scale, detail and in J. S. Dijt's case, the fragrance, can all be properly enjoyed up close.
