Plant Area Assistants

About the role

We are looking for x2 motivated and enthusiastic Plant Assistants to become part of our Knights team; x1 assistant will be working in our Hardy Plants and x1 in Bedding. Successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining high standards of plant quality and presentation while delivering excellent customer service. You will also be involved with maintaining the presentation of plants and displays around our garden centre site to ensure a positive customer experience. Key responsibilities include assisting with customer purchases and plant enquiries, watering and caring for plants, moving and handling plant stock safely, assisting with seasonal changes and christmas tree sales, assisting in other departments when required. 

Skills and Experience Required

Customer service and retail experience required, ability to lift large and heavy objects. Plant knowledge or horticultural experience preferred but not essential.

Role Type

Full time (40 hours per week), Monday - Friday and alternate weekend working (one day off during the week).
