Coffee Shop Manager - Plant House Betchworth

The 'Plant House' is an award winning coffee shop located at Knights Plant Centre in Betchworth.

We are looking for a driven Coffee Shop Manager to join the management team.

About the role

You will be responsible for the day to day management of the coffee shop, managing staff, driving excellent customer service and catering standards. Where required you will also be involved in the Duty Management of the whole garden centre site, including site security.

We have a kitchen of skilled chefs providing customers a balanced menu, cooked fresh using the best ingredients, alongside our counter of cakes and pastries. Our front of house team are trained baristas and pride themselves on excellent customer service.

Skills required

• Proven experience as a Manager in a commercial catering setting
• Food Hygiene, Allergy Awareness and COSHH certification
• Front of house and chef experience
• Excellent customer service experience
• Ability to manage staff scheduling, recruitment, and HR matters effectively
• Culinary qualifications or certifications are advantageous but not essential
• Must be able to commute to both our Betchworth and Nags Hall centres

Hours

This is a full time role and will include working alternate weekends.
