Unlike traditional grills that burn charcoal or propane, a Traeger grill burns wood pellets and needs electricity for power. The Traeger cooks food with low indirect heat over a long period which yields fall-off-the-bone and melt-in-the-mouth textures. Traeger also produces a massive amount of smoke which gives the food an unmistakable smokey flavour.
