It carries soft pale pink semi-double flowers in winter, from January to March, each lightly ruffled and highly scented.
Upright in habit but not too large, it is suitable for medium-sized gardens and lends a distinct Japanese elegance.
Plant in neutral to acid soil in a sheltered part shade position
Prune lightly after flowering to maintain shape if needed
